3D Construction Printing Robot Used On the Moon
As an 3D construction printing robot, Pstone 4 is a conceptual product that can achieve in-situ 3D printing in outer space.
Technical Advantages
- It is available for 3D visual real-time online interactive control, and it has the functions of automatic slicing, intelligent path optimization, and print preview, as well as real-time detection of print tracks;
- It supports parametric design, modeling, path planning, and generation of Gcode code in formats such as stl and stp of 3D model and dwg and dxf of CAD 2D path graphics; in addition, it supports direct importing and printing of third-party sliced Gcode data;
- It has the functions of continuous printing, breakpoint interactive printing, and printing process saving;
- It supports model printing in blocks.The block areas can be obtained by creating new blocks or importing any closed curve. The blocks have independent sub-coordinate systems and display surfaces;
- It is available for the control over the rotatable universal print head;
- It supports the filling path setting function that meets the characteristics and needs of 3D construction printing, including grid filling, round trip filling, spiral filling, and free adjustment of filling overlap.
